Originally face-to-face, I mainly work online since Lockdown when my clientele mushroomed and it was the only way I could hold onto all my clients.
This has also enabled me to provide tuition in other countries in Europe and Asia so long as I am able to access their particular curricular needs.
My main subject is maths but I do get called upon to provide help for other subjects and purposes.
Mathematics
Though I mainly teach Secondary aged pupils (KS3 and GCSE Foundation and Higher), I still teach at KS2 and KS1, including ongoing studies, helping pupils to catch up and tailoring individual programs for SATs preparation.
I've also prepared later teens and adults for alternative maths qualifications e.g. Functional Skills; The R.A.F. Aptitude Test
11 Plus
I have also been tutorng for the 11+, especially the maths component but also English, Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal Reasoning as required.
I have prepared pupils for a number of schools in the Essec, Redbridge and LBWF locality according to their own individual exam specifications, along with CEM and other broader 11+ tests.
I have also prepared pupils for the 7+ and 13+ examinations when required.
English and Other
Having taught the subject for 25 years as a full-time primary teacher, I'm still happy to provide tuition up to KS2 SATs for English.
Also, having spent 9 years as the subject leader for science, I have also provided tuition in Science up to KS3.
